In 1991 John Herklotz and American Happenings produced a heartwarming family film classic The Giant of Thunder Mountain.
This (PG) classic stars Richard Kiel (Jaws from the James Bond franchise), Noley Thornton (from the 1993 classic Heidi), Cloris Leachman, Bart the Bear (from The Edge), William Sanderson, Jack Elam, Foster Brooks, and Marianne Rogers. The film was shot in Yosemite National Park and North Fork, California. It was released in the U.S. in March 1991, and at the Cannes film market.

Utilizing back screen imaging, elegant ‘50s costuming and precise attention to historical detail, In A Booth at Chasen's plays out the love story between Ron and Nancy Reagan on one set centered around the eponymous booth from the famed (and now long-lost) Hollywood landmark, Chasen’s Restaurant.
Produced by the multi-talented, Tony Award winning producer Ron Dante, with Music and Lyrics by Two-time Academy Award-winning songwriter-composer Al Kasha and international entertainment industry success Phil Swann. This musical woven together with acclaimed author and poet Samantha Bennett is hilariously entertaining and startlingly poignant.
